If you have a queen bed, buy a king quilt and cover, so that your quilt hangs over the frame and touches the floor. Use a thicker quilt so that you can roll or fold the top of the quilt, I buy the 2 in 1 from @sheridanaustralia .
2. CUSHIONS + PILLOWS
Add 2-3 Euro cushions (60 x 60cm) along the back of the bed to create fullness and luxury. Then add your 2 x pillows (one nice one and one memory foam ugly looking one) and play around with 50 x 50cm cushions and 60 x 40cm rectangles.
3. THROW BLANKET
Throws create beautiful layers, so add a chunky knit from in winter and a linen throw in summer, the best sizes are 150 x 240cm or 145 x 185cm as it drapes across the bed.
I love this morrocan bench, I have one myself and they’re my fav! You can sit at the end to put your shoes on, lay out clothes for the next day or store baskets underneath if you find the right bench. Best size is about 150cm - 180cm
I love a landscape image above the bed, because I beleive it really creates calmness inside of a space. Choose a 90cm x 130cm from size or a wall hanging around 100cm
I find a rug at the front of the bed, grounds it and makes it look and feel luxurious, so I choose one that’s soft underfoot in 160 x 230cm, I’m also really loving the Turkish rugs in a 200 x 300cm size!
You can’t go past a log stool!!! Have fun with side tables and stools as bedsides because they can be so versatile!
Finish it off with a dried flower arrangement in a pot, fresh foliage in a glass vase from the garden or a pot and plant with some books or magazines and a candle!
